Workspaces
Introduction
Floqer workspaces allow users to belong to multiple organizations at once and switch freely between them.
Users can manage their organizations by navigating to the organization dashboard: open the organization dropdown in the top bar and select Manage organizations.
Organization Dashboard
The organization dashboard allows users to view every organization they belong to, switch between them, accept or decline pending invitations, and create new organizations. Switching and answering invitations are also available from the organization dropdown in the top bar.

The organization dashboard shows the organization name, the user's role in that organization, and the org ID.
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The organization's icon and name. |
| Role | Admin, Member, or User. |
| Org ID | The organization's identifier. |
Switching organizations
A user can switch between organizations from either the organization dashboard or the dropdown:
- In the top bar, open the organization dropdown and select an organization.
- On the dashboard, select Switch on the organization's row.
Creating new organizations
To create a new organization, select the Create organization button at the bottom of the dashboard.

Careful
An organization cannot be renamed after creation.
Organization Management
If the user is an admin of their organization, they can manage the organization, invite new users, or manage existing members by navigating to Settings → Members.
Roles
Every member holds one role in the organization.
| Role | Can | Cannot |
|---|---|---|
| Admin | Everything, including inviting and removing members, changing roles, billing, and organization settings. | |
| Member | Build and run workflows, publish shortcuts, build sources, and manage connections. | Manage members, billing, or organization settings. |
| User | Build sources, run shortcuts, manage connections, and use Settings. | Open, create, run, or delete a workflow; create, edit, or publish a shortcut. |
An admin changes an existing member's role with Change role on their row in Members: pick the new role and confirm (for example Change to user). Moving an admin to another role shows a warning that they lose members, roles, billing, and settings. Changing a builder to User does not delete their workflows; they can no longer open them, and admins still can. In an organization that signs in with single sign-on, roles are assigned in the identity provider and the User option is not offered when inviting.
Inviting users to your organization
Select Invite member, enter the invitee's Email, choose a Role (Admin, Member, or User; see Roles), and select Send invite. A toast confirms Invitation sent. Clear Send an invitation email to invite without emailing; the toast then reads Invitation added, and the invitation still waits on the invitee's Organizations dashboard.

The invitee receives an email inviting them to join the organization. New users are prompted to create a Floqer account, and existing users are notified in Floqer. Until the invitation is accepted, the invitee is listed in Members with the status Invited and the admin who sent it. Revoke invite on that row withdraws the invitation. Members and pending invitations both count toward the seats shown under the list.
Troubleshooting messages
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Enter a valid email address | The address is malformed. |
| Select a role | No role was chosen. |
| That user is already a member. Use the role-change endpoint to change their role. | The address is already in Members. Use Change role on their row instead. |

Accepting invites
Upon receiving an invitation, the user can accept it in the following ways:
- New to Floqer: the user enters the invited email address on the sign-in page, sets a password, and verifies their email. The organization dashboard then opens with the invitation listed under Pending invites.
- Already in another organization: the invitation appears both on the organization dashboard under Pending invites and in the top-bar dropdown under Pending invitations.

| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| This invitation is no longer available. | The invitation was revoked. |
| This organization is not currently accessible (pending approval or disabled). | The inviting organization is not approved. The invitation stays pending. |
