Floqer raised a $2M pre-seed round
AI helped the world build faster. Now we're enabling AI to help teams understand their customers 10x deeper and go to market 10x faster.
We humans are tool builders. Every new tool makes work more efficient, adds value, and moves the world forward, faster. AI is the latest, and it has made building and understanding a product 100x faster. Almost no one writes code without it today, and a handful of people can now build what used to take a hundred.
But building the tool is just the start. Getting it into the hands of the right people, and understanding the person with the problem, is still slow. And understanding is a data problem.
Why it's a data problem
It stays slow for one reason. You can't reach the right person if you don't understand who the right person is. To know who actually fits, you need every angle on them, and that data is scattered everywhere. Some of it is public: the news, the web, socials. The most valuable part is private, in your own Slack, your CRM, your calls.
Why now
Having the data was never really the problem. Using it was. A news article about a raise. A job posting that signals a new initiative. A strategic move disclosed in an SEC filing. A line buried in a sales call. For years that was data you could collect but never act on: raw text, unstructured, unreadable at scale. LLMs changed that. For the first time, a machine can read all of it, understand what it means, and enable you to strategize and automate your action on it. For every cohort of customers at once.
Why we're building Floqer
Floqer brings together every data point on every customer: 100+ industry-leading third-party data sources, and your private ones, structured and unstructured. We turn it into one clear, living understanding of each customer, so your GTM team can understand them deeply and sell precisely.
Why we raised
Working with companies like Wise, Perplexity, AngelList, and Pulumi, we kept hearing the same thing. The bottleneck was never the campaign. Teams wanted one system that could pull data from every source, public and private, with coverage and quality they could trust. Not just enriched fields, but the context buried across third-party and first-party sources, gathered into a single source of truth. By hand, that's endless manual work.
So that's what we're building: the first autonomous customer knowledge base.
With it, teams can find patterns that were impossible to see before. They can ask questions like: across our top-paying customers, what hiring trends showed up before they signed? What product change or changelog issue pushed them to buy? Then they can take those patterns to the open world, find the companies and people who look just like their best customers, with far deeper intent than any generic list, and reach them with the story of how they solved the same problem for someone like them. This is not your typical funding intent. It's deeper, and much more relevant to your specific solution and niche.
That's why we raised our $2 million CAD pre-seed round.
The team
Zaaheda, my co-founder and CTO, and I went full-time on Floqer in late October 2024. We've come a long way since: revenue is 8x what it was in June 2025, and we've built a team that Alex Norman, Partner at N49P and Co-founder of TechTO, calls "a talent-dense spot."
The energy here pulls people in. Sean, a former YC founder who had raised $2.5M, got on a call with us as a customer and decided to join instead. Rupert Donovan, who ran an e-commerce company doing high six figures, came on as our Head of GTM Engineering. Vansh Sood, founder of Bean Meals, an app with 1,000+ active users, dropped by an event at our office, saw Aaron, our founding GTM engineer, cold-calling Australia at midnight in the middle of a party, and wanted in. And Abdullah Hussein joined from Trolley, where he had been running Floqer as a customer. In his words: "I automated my own job with Floqer. Now I want to help others do the same." I could go on. Avish joined as an intern and now scales the infrastructure behind 10B+ requests a week. Deep and I have been building side hustles together since our school days, and he's been in the trenches on Floqer with me.
Thank you
Thank you to the people who believed in us early: Alex Norman (N49P), Kelly Graziadei and Joanna Lee (co-founders of F7 Ventures), the Perplexity fund, Janneta Tabakov, Denis Yarats (CTO and co-founder of Perplexity), Ian Whytock, Jenny Yang, and many others.
And to the teams already running Floqer: thank you for putting your trust in us. We're just getting started.
